This afternoon at 1 p.m. at Davis-Kidd Booksellers, Memphis author Hadley Hury will be signing copies of his new suspense novel, The Edge of the Gulf. The Memphis-based and internationally acclaimed Watoto D Afrika Presents A Soulful Christmas tonight and tomorrow night at Buckman Performing and Fine Arts Center. Ballet Memphis opens a two-night run of The Nutcracker at the Cannon Center for the Performing Arts. There s an Automusik Xmas Party at the Hi-Tone. And the Memphis Grizzlies take on the New Jersey Nets. Let s hope we show them what we showed last time we played them. Ha!
