One more art opening this weekend if you feel like a little road trip: there s a reception tonight at the Southside Gallery in Oxford for paintings by Vidal Blankenstein, Bob Gray, and David Lambert, and photography by Bill Steber. If you go down, be sure to have dinner at the Yacona River Inn. Today kicks off this summer s second-Saturday-of-the-month Harbor Lights Festival at Harbor Town, with local vendors, beer tastings, food, art, pottery, jewelry, and live music by Los Cantadores. Tonight s Live at the Garden Series at Memphis Botanic Gardens features country artist Wyonona. Tonight s Memphis Jam Concert Series group at Mud Island Amphitheatre is Blues Traveler. Tonight s show at The Lounge is by Tha Movement featuring the Chris Parker Trio with the fabulous Kelly Hurt and DJ Danari. And Wrecked Em Wreckords artists Flesh Vehicle are at the Hi-Tone tonight along with Local Boozers and The Joint Chiefs (don t often get use the words joint, wrecked em, and boozers all in the same sentence; well, at least not here in print).
