Memphis attorney Jack McNeil singing and reading from his Writing on the Wall from 5-7 p.m. tonight at CafÇ Francisco, with live music added in by jazz great Calvin Newborn. Back at the New Daisy, tonight s Memphis Jazz Hall of Fame and Awards celebrates Memphis jazz heritage and musicians, including James Williams, Tony Reedus, and George Coleman. There s a Honeymouth CD Release Party tonight and tomorrow night at the Blue Monkey. And at the Hi-Tone, there s tonight s Automusik Christmas Party featuring Vending Machine and The Pelicans.
