It's Famly Day at the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art today with an appearance by Snoopy, kids' activities, and plenty of pets on hand for adoption from the Memphis Humane Society. Today's Infohubub party at the Central Library features desserts from area restaurants along with sports training, dancing, art, history programs, and live music by the Stax Choir,GaryBeard Chorale, and U of M Jazz band. Today kicks off he two-day W.C. Handy Birthday Celebraton with a parade on Beale Street and W.C.Handy Heritage Awards given to Beale Street musicians Harold Poindexter & Minister Enin Perryman are at Tower Records this morning. David Allen Coe is at Hllywood Casino. Alan Jackson is at The Pyramid. And there's a Panic Fans for Food benefit at Young Avenue Deli.
