Two more art openings tonight: Durden Gallery for work by David Hinske, and Clip Joint Gallery for work by Emily and Greg Patterson. The Grizzlies are back at it again tonight against Atlanta. Today s big Race for The Cure to benefit the Susan G. Komen breast cancer foundation begins at the Shops of Saddle Creek at 7 a.m. Today s You Gotta Have Park Festival is a fund-raiser for Friends of Shelby Farms Park and includes a local artist market, live music, horse and dog demonstrations, a family scavenger hunt, kayaking, and other outdoor recreation in what is probably the country s largest city park and one that does not need to be chopped up with roads so that people can get home from work faster. The Masqueraders are at Blues City CafÇ tonight. The Reigning Sound and The Pendletons are at the Buccaneer. And the Elvis interpreter we all love to love, El Vez, is at the Hi-Tone.
