At The Orpheum tonight, Ballet Memphis Mars and Venus features three ballets: Concerto Barocco, Art of War, and Carmina Burana. The biggest party of the night by far is the Renaissance Gala at the Memphis Cook Convention Center, a black-tie affair to benefit LeMoyne-Owen College, featuring jazz greats Spyro Gyra and the Jazz Crusaders, Latimore, and Alex Bugnon. And Every Mother s Nightmare is at Newby s.
