Tonight s BPAAC Showcase Series concert at the Bartlett Performing Arts and Conference Center is by acoustic musicians Montana Skies. At Germantown Performing Arts Center, the legendary Emmylou Harris is in concert. There s a Household Pet Cat Show today at the Mid-South Fairgrounds. At Agricenter International at Shelby Farms, today s Harvest Festival features pumpkin painting, carnival games, and other activities for the kids. Tonight Midtown Rhythm & Blues Party at Askew Nixon Ferguson Architects is a fund-raiser for Habitat for Humanity and features live music by the Icebreakers and Amy & The Tramps. Tonight s Maria Spence CD Release Party at Kudzu s for her new record Better Days is a fund-raiser for the Humane Society. Jeff Huddleston and Blue Bossa are at CafÇ Soul. G.I. Joe Mama is at the Flying Saucer. The Salleymacs are at the Blue Monkey Midtown. The Fieldstones are at The Blue Worm. The Tennessee Boltsmokers are at the P&H. Jupiter Cayote is at Newby s. DJs Mr. White and special guest Stephe Glass are at Swig tonight. And last but certainly not least, at the newly redone (but redone enough to take away its charm) Buccaneer tonight, there s a reunion concert by none other than one of the most legendary bands in Memphis, The Mudflaps.
