"At the very least," Jones said the seat should be filled by someone who has lived in and is invested in the community rather than someone who decided to relocate just to be an opportunist.

Bellefonte won't be up and running for another 20 years (with corresponding cost overruns). Memphis would be much better served by slapping solar panels on all its publicly owned buildings.

Wendi Thomas divisive? The deepest experience I've had with Wendi was the Common Ground program where I felt more unity than most any other experiences I've had in Memphis. Maybe Lenoir didn't actually sign off on the advert, but I can tell that it's been manipulated to deliver a subliminal message. I'm just glad folks are being conscious about it.
