Re: “Memphians Vote Against Longer Term Limits, Repeal of Runoff Voting

Bad news for Berlin, but at least he's got his apartment development side hustle.

Re: “Councilman Morgan: Ballot Campaign No Good For Public Trust

Mr. Morgan really screwed up the Greensward deal, but perhaps he is learning on the job about who he is representing. Thank you for being better than when you started as councilman. Big improvement.

Re: “Zoo Denies Claim of Gender Discrimination

This zoo board has a bizarrely high tolerance for incompetence, arrogance, & embarrassment. Hopefully, our next mayor will look into the $3 million worth of welfare it receives from taxpayers each year. Sad.

Re: “Greensward Parking Now Set to End In 2020

Here's what the would-be mayor promised when running for office (from the Memphis Daily News): "Strickland said he would give the Overton Park Conservancy, the Memphis Zoo and other parties a matter of months to get cars off the greensward."

"Within six months of my administration we will get an agreement between the parties, or I will make the decision myself, he said. It wont take four years. Were going to do it in six months."

What he did not say is that he would take part of the Greensward, pave it for new parking spaces for the zoo, and then say, "See? No more parking on the Greensward! I got cars off the Greensward by taking 2.4 acres of greenspace!"

I do not see where the "compromise" is on this deal. OPC raised half the money & lost part of the Greensward. What did the zoo compromise? They sure as hell did not compromise on making normal parking spaces. This deal stinks for the park and is going in the wrong direction for Memphis and the environment.

Re: “City Council Votes to Remove 'Offensive' Paint Memphis Murals

Berlin, why don't you get some of that city council lunch money & take Lee Harris out for lunch. He'll show you what a real leader of Memphis is like.

Re: “City Council Votes to Remove 'Offensive' Paint Memphis Murals

Exhibit A for city council term limits. Shout-out to Worth Morgan for finally figuring out his role & abstaining. The last thing this city needs is ANY of these city council people deciding what is appropriate art for this city. Sit down, Boyd/Swearengen/Robinson/Colvett. The power has driven Berlin Boyd mad.

Re: “Memphis Zoo Sued For Alleged Gender Discrimination

He seems like a nice person to work for. Overstayed his welcome by a few decades...anyone home on that board? Asking for a $2 million a year taxpayer donor named Memphis.
