Re: “Hyde Gift Pushes Riverfront Redesign

Memphis would benefit best by having the riverfront from bluff to bank between Carolina and Beale remain as a single open area. Mini or micro parks should be integrated whenever possible into the districts East of Riverside. In lieu of poorly advised construction, create a park. I would like to see well designed access from Big River Crossing to Martyrs Park to Tom Lee Park north of the Harahan Bridge to the south connecting the National Ornamental Metal Museum to the Marine Hospital (which should be reacquired as repurposed for the public) to Chickasaw Heritage Park and Martin Luther King, Jr. Riverside Park. The bluff is one of Memphis's greatest assets, we should not ruin it with "trendy playfulness".

Re: “Overton Square Hotel Slated to Open in 2020

" Loeb Properties says the hotel here will have " expressive design moments" ". Who comes up with this garbage? The architect probably received a degree from mcmansions for idiots off the back of a box of cereal.

Re: “Airport Fires Back at New York Times Story

first thing i would do is tear down the parking garage. The terminal building is an architectural gem and should be seen.

Re: “Greensward Parking Now Set to End In 2020

"will permanently end parking on Overton Parks Greensward" ???? by paving 2.4 acres of park space. So disappointed in Memphis' leadership.
