Re: “"You Can't Pray Away the Gay"

EX gay - an oxymoron. One of the head of Exodus - the large ex gay group - David Bussee finally came out after 20 years there, and then married his boyfriend.

George Reker, a founder of the Family Research council, was caught taking a male prostitute with him to europe, to "carry his baggage", debunked by security cams at Miami Intl AP showing Reker tossing heavy bags around. Then his male prostitute friend told that his job had been to give Reker nude massages.

Ex gay is not just a farce. they terrorize people, and turn some of them into the worst of bigots. I know one, who said "gays support the Westboro baptist church".

The guy is nuts to put it bluntly. My psychology prof at college said, after I gave him the details about this guy - its obvious he has been sexually abused.

And he is from Boston area, which was the epicenter of the explosion of the details fo hwo the catholic church abused children for decades, hid the abuse, and even sent known offending priests to new locations where their vile crimes were not known.

Its not about love etc, the church is all about power and money. While the hierarchy continues to vilify gays in a desperate attempt to hide their own sick and almost endless crimes.

Re: “Nashville Trumps Memphis On Gay Rights

Teh old south is evolving. Despite the presence of so many evangelical churches whose roots are in justifying slavery etc, the south is changing.

Marriage rights (not rites-thats rightfully the churches business) have a long way to go, but progress is progress.

Jesus told us in his second of only two commandments to "love thy neighbor as thyself."

Now more and more people are listening. Good for them.
