...in last week's Flyer, the councilman spoke out on behalf of Christal's soon-to-be-neighbor, a sporting goods store that sells guns and ammo. Taylor's defense of the store took the form of an all-too-true (if hoary and cliched) aphorism. "Guns don't kill people, people kill people." While we at Fly on the Wall are thrilled that someone has addressed this issue in a way that even a Memphis City School student can understand (provided it's read to them), in deference to Christal's we must point out the following: Thus far it is believed that no dildo (not even the Intruder) has ever gone off accidentally and killed the baby. Alas, Fly has checked into complaints about Christal's made by a Cordova liquor store. But there is still no available data to determine how often men drive their SUVs into oncoming traffic after buying one too many pairs of crotchless panties.
