SPEAKING OF STEREOTYPES...

Things will be heating up in June when Rally USA, a Cannonball Run-style race between high-net-worth individuals (read rich) and bon vivants (read rich and single), rolls through Memphis. The Rally USA program describes our city of rock-and-roll and blue suede shoes as a Southern city that still bears traces of its Confederate past but where everyone can always agree over a plate of smothered pork chops, black-eyed peas and candied yams. Gentlemen, ah-ah-ah say, gentlemen, start yer engines!
