The Memphis Symphony Orchestra will present German composer Carl Orff's scenic cantata Carmina Burana. This is a huge production with three choruses and three solo artists performing songs based on medieval poetry (covering lust, gambling, drinking, etc.). It's today at 2:30 p.m. at the Cannon Center. MSO music director and conductor David Loebel will give a talk about the composition 45 minutes before showtime.
