sunday, 12

It s Mother s Day, so be nice to your mom, or a house just might fall on you. There are lots of brunches around town, notably at Isaac Hayes Food, Music, Passion; a gospel brunch at Elvis Presley s Memphis; at Boscos Squared with jazz by Joyce Cobb; and at Memphis Botanic Garden, where there will also be carriage rides and live music. I say take Mom to Al Green s Full Gospel TabernacleDi Anne Price & Her Boyfriends followed by the Gamble Brothers, and then go for the best barbecue on the planet at DJ night at the Big S Lounge. She is sure to love you for that.
