sunday, 14

There's an opening reception today at the National Ornamental Metal Museum for its new exhibit, "Findings: The Jewelry of Ramona Solberg." The David Grisman Quintet is playing at the New Daisy tonight. Delta Grass and Jeff Ray are at the Full Moon Club tonight upstairs from Zinnie's East. Di Anne Price & Her Boyfriends are at Huey's Midtown (be looking for a great new CD by Di Anne & Her Boyfriends coming out soon), followed by The Gamble Brothers Band. And speaking of new CDs, whatever you do today, get over to David-Kidd Booksellers, where Stax soul singer, the legendary Carla Thomas, will be signing copies of her new album, Live From Memphis.
