No art openings tonight, but there is a Holiday Liquidation Sale at the Art Farm Gallery of Fine Art. Tonight s Hope House Benefit at Java Cabana, with proceeds going to the Memphis agency that provides daycare and other services to children affected by HIV/AIDS, features live music by Autumn Grieves, Bella Sun, Jeff Evans, Jason Freeman, and Jeff Pope. Proceeds from Wanda Appreciation Day at Automatic Slim s benefit Friends For Life. The Memphis GrizzliesB are playing the L.A. Lakers tonight at The Pyramid. While I ve not heard them, I must say I like the name of the band playing at Club 152 on Beale tonight: Tragikly WhitE. And, as always on Friday nights, the Chris Scott Band is at Poplar Lounge.
