Here's a look at some of what's going on around town this week. Tonight, there are a couple of songwriters showcases. One is the Original Songwriters Night at Cafe Francisco; the other is the Keith Sykes Songwriters Night at Black Diamond, featuring Fred Knobloch, Tony Arata, & J.R. Johnson. The Dempseys are at Elvis Presley's Memphis. And tonight's big concert is the final Live at the Garden show at Memphis Botanic Garden: "Directions in Music: Miles Davis & John Coltrane, the 75th Birthday Celebration" featuring Herbie Hancock, Michael Brecker, and Roy Hargrove.
