This just in: According to the Port Huron Times Herald, Penny Rock gets all shook up when it comes to Elvis Presley. You should see my apartment, the 57-year-old Memphis resident was quoted as saying. Elvis lives at my house. Rock was the winner of an Elvis trivia contest at her local chamber of commerce s annual Elvis birthday party, a King-sized event featuring a number of Presley tribute artists. Why all the excitement? Chamber presdent Nina Powers said her city likes to incorporate Elvis-related themes into their events and was quoted as saying, [It s] because of our town being named Memphis. Memphis, Michigan, that is. First they took our name; now they are going after our most famous celebrity. Perhaps we could interest Powers -- and her city -- in the acquisition of a slightly used Pyramid. Dirt cheap.
