Re: “Abuelo's Mexican Food Embassy

This place is GREAT! If you're expecting something like Taco-Bell this is not the place. Abuelo's sausa comes in a bowl instead of a ketchup tube. The bacon wrapped shrimp is absolutely marvelous. Their filets are some of the best cooked steaks in Memphis. No greasy Tex-Mex here. Thank God we have a place to enjoy true Mexican cuisine.

Re: “Pinnacle Destination: Downtown

Don't get nervous, just don't go to work for somebody if you are disatisfied with the wages or benefits. But don't down-grade somebody else for what they do.

If you are a Pinnacle pilot you should voice your concern with the company that you work for. If you're afraid to fly Pinnacle, stay with the Big Boys.

I don't think our Police Officers or Fire Fighter are paid enough. Does that make me want to move? No. But they don't work for a private company. I will fight for their salaries every chance I get.

And a Communistic mindset would want to force companies to give higher wages even if it meant corporate destruction. Then the Government could take over and do what they pleased. Look at General Motor. Ford never looks better.

Each of us have the right to refuse to work for anybody. Again, if you don't like the wages, don't take the job. If you take the job, start looking for a better opportunity with the wages and benefits that your looking for. With Pinnacle, somebody is waiting for you to quit so they can take your job.

We are going to have to agree to disagree.

Re: “Pinnacle Destination: Downtown

I have no fear in flying Pinnacle. I have flown many miles between Memphis and Charlotte, NC.

Remember, the guy behind the yoke wants a good landing as much if not more than I do. His job & life is on the line. I really would rather fly than ride a bus or even drive, regardless of their pay. Surely your not thinking they are suicidal.

What they bring home to their family is not my concern. What you make is not my concern. Knowing either does not benefit me or my livelyhood what so ever. If you made your $250,000 per year, It still wouldn't benefit me or my family. Why should it?

Telling a company or denouncing a company for what they pay is luticrous, especially with the City's good news that they are staying and bringing $30 million to the City's table.

You sound very Socialistic and maybe Communistic. Redistribution is not the answer to anything that is good about America. Every pilot that Pinnacle has knew what the pay scale was before they took the job.

If you are so sure that you know better, buy some CRJ's, get your authorities, hire your people, and do it yourself. Put it on paper and draw up a business plan where you can make a little side money and see how easy it is. You might be suprised.

One thing is for sure. I will never scold you for how little you pay, regardless of the price of JP4. I may not work for you, but that's my decision.

Re: “Pinnacle Destination: Downtown

Pinnacle is their second job. With great benefits too.

Now your saying that a company should compensate for their employees over spending? Get real.

Re: “Pinnacle Destination: Downtown

It shouldn't matter to either you or I what their pilots get paid. They will get paid what they agreed to wherever the HQ is located. I proud it's Memphis.
