Mr. Taylor is correct, he did make it expressly clear that he was exaggerating when he stated that the DNA kit was so sensitive it would pick up his dna from 20 yards. However, the audio was such that it is perfectly reasonable that Mr. Branston, who was in the back of the room, would not have heard him. Indeed, I believe that Mr. Branston could not have heard Mr. Taylor's aside to the effect that the DNA comment was a joke. Had he heard Mr. Taylor's entire statement, Mr. Branson would not have been quivering with indignation when he asked a rather pointed question about Mr. Taylor's DNA comment.
