Memphis author Robert Gordon is signing copies of his new book, Can t Be Satisfied, a biography of Muddy Waters, this afternoon at Burke s Book Store. Lee Roy Parnell is at the Lounge and Mason Jennings is at Newby s and now I must be gone before I hurt someone. As always, I really don t care what you do this week, because I don t even know you, and unless you can get ol Matt to make a visit to Memphis during his trip around the world (I d love to see him knocking a few back at, well, on my front porch), then I feel certain I do not want to meet you. Besides, it s time for me to go empty my lipstick tube and think about a plan B for my next trip.
