Back at the Lounge, it s a very special night, including the local premiere of The Acoustic Highway, a one-hour Memphis Troubadours television pilot featuring Cory Branan, Garrison Starr, Paul Thorn, Robert Belfour, and Native Son. It was filmed in August at Newby s and is currently being shopped for national distribution. After the airing of the show, there will be music by Cory Branan, Kim Richardson, Patrick Dodd, and Native Son a special farewell show until the Troubadour Showcase returns in May. And that, as they say, is that. As always, I really don t care what you do this week, because I don t even know you, and un less you can get me a video of John Ashcroft and his merry choir, I feel certain I don t want to meet you. Besides, it s time for me to blow this dump and go find out what color code we are under. You know how I hate to clash. --T.S.
