Re: “On Target?

I read the article and found it to be very accurate as to how the classes go, and this is thinking back to my class in 1996! Great article, maybe it will lead other "LAW ABIDING" citizens to qualify for their carry permit. As for the earlier post by Alias, I don't doubt that you were carring that evening, but it was no reason to give up carring and turn against it. Just because you may be carring a firearm, does not mean it will keep you from becoming a target or victim of a crime. One of the best things you can do as an individual is to train yourself to have complete situational awareness. Make yourself start looking around at people, vehicles, rooftops... Look at what they are doing, what they are driving. Begin doing this every time you exit your vehicle at first and adventually you will do it without thought, muscle memory. Crime is out there and it can happen anywhere anytime, citizens in your communitee can put a damper on it by being armed. They will either rid our society of these criminals permanently (when confronted) or just cause them to move on to another area. I'm not saying to go looking for trouble, because if you wind up in court, the last thing you want to come off as, is "Dirty Harry". Alright, enough rambling! Support your second admendment. Don't let the criminals be the only ones with the firearms and the bullets needed for them!!!
