Memphis’ neo-soul songstress Talibah Safiya is no stranger to Music Video Monday. She recently joined the Big We Foundation to help restore Clayborn Temple after the recent devastating fire. Now she’s rolling out a new musical project with a gorgeous new music video.

โ€œโ€˜Breakoutโ€™ is a liberation anthem,โ€ says Safiya. โ€œItโ€™s the first single from my upcoming project ETERNAL, because it holds the expansive energy of the project in 2 minutes and 37 seconds. It says so much and so little. Itโ€™s deeply political but also self focused. The external world reflects the internal, and we are just as powerful today as weโ€™ve ever been.โ€

Longtime collaborator Racheal Weathers directed the music video, which sees Talibah dancing with her friends and looking downright stunning. Get into the groove:
