Heavy young power trio the Dirty Streets (Thomas Storz, Justin Toland, Andrew Denham) beefed up their their classic-rock facsimile โ€” which draws on such ’60s and ’70s blues-rock stars as Led Zeppelin, Cream, and Humble Pie โ€” on their strong new sophomore album, Movements. But the band does its real damage on stage and offers local rock fans a chance to get their New Year’s party started early by headlining a show at the Hi-Tone Cafรฉ on Friday, December 30th. Booyah Dad and Hi Electric warm up. Doors open at 9 p.m. Admission is $7.
