Tonight is the last night of Wally Joe restaurant as Memphians have come to know it since its opening in 2002. As chef/owner Wally Joe changes business partners, he’s also off to a new not-yet-known location in Memphis. Sad as it might be to some diners, Joe doesn’t fret over the events. He feels that he’s made his mark and accomplished a lot when it comes to fine dining in Memphis; now he’ll concentrate on the next adventure, a new restaurant.

Those hungry for Joe’s food in the meantime can go to the Brushmark at the Brooks Museum, where Joe took over as executive chef last month.
