George was a most knowledgable sports guru in the whole mid-south area.
Most importantly he was a class act. I knew him from the days he was a sports repoter for the Whitestation Spartins. He did many admirable things that most of us never know.
He was very special and will be sorely missed.
It is extremely important that we elect the best qualified candidate, if we expect our city to make positive progress for the future. Lester Lit is a most experienced individual who only has the best interest for the city of Memphis. He is an attorney, former city attorney, business executive, and involved in several community service organizations. He is semi retired and has the time necessary to devote to the leadership our wonderful city needs badly. We do not need a political party or a former city councilman to tell us how to vote. Just need to learn as much about the candidates as possible and it's quite obvious that Lester Lit is an outstanding candidate, who would be an excellent city council member.Just read the Commercial Appeal front page on September 27th and you can learn that one of the candidates running against Lester is delinquent on property taxes on several construction projects and on his own home. We just need to do our homework and elect the best qualified candidates and in my opinion Lester Lit is the most qualified and will get my vote.
