@Berclair: That does. $8mm was without Barnes' cap hold and $10mm is without Barnes and w/ waiving Vince Carter. James Ennis' deal doesn't affect cap space since they're taking his salary into the room exception.
@Manson This is a different front office than the one that let Hollins go, though. That was a Levien thing.
@Michael: Yeah, I assumed he was talking about "as a 5-man unit" but I will ask him to clarify.
So... the future of Overton Park is worth less to Reid Hedgepeth than the purchase price of a mid-sized family sedan.
@Grizzfan235 I'd argue the wing rotation is more fluid than that, and that Carter has played at the 2 off the bench fairly consistently this season. That definitely invalidates the entire rest of the article, though, so good call.
@emazin29: I'm with you on whether TA or Lee should play with Barnes. I think it should be Lee... I worry about defense with a Green/Barnes combo.
@Midtown Mark: Even if his injury were well-documented and we knew he'd be back on the court soon--which we don't, because they're being extremely vague about it when they address it at all--he's never been a good rim protector. Not really that good on defense at all. Much more of a scorer.
