You make it sound like Cordova is one big mistake, but in fact most of your arguments for stability (Diversity, Housing, private & parochial schools, nearby hospitals) also describe the "Cordova Corridor" along Germantown Parkway from I-40 south to the Wolf River. And amenities? We are within easy walking distance of groceries, banks, dozens of restaurants and neighborhood bars -- and at OUR Malco theatre, we can walk home at ANY hour without having to look over our shoulder. Perhaps you've heard of Shelby Farms? Just wait until the CSX Rail Trail is finished -- you'll see property values rise in adjacent subdivisions. Maybe Cordova contains alot more sustainability than anyone gives it credit.
