Blimey what have I wrought dissing the Insurance companies? Flo will kick my rear! ArlingtonPop I agree I should really wait to get the Facts but on the other hand that is the fun of posting comments like these, we can speculate all we want and drift off topic and let Bianca do the fact checking and follow up with a less interesting -but true- reason for this wreck. I DO feel sorry for the people who worked together with time and money to refurbish this though. On the third hand compared to a certain "other" newspaper we are showing that we are more higher edumacated than what they is, since so far we have managed to avoid saying that all of this wouldn't have happened if they put prayer back in schools....
I passed it Friday just after when the police were there, the white car was about 30 feet from the bus stop, you have to wonder what speed this driver was doing to be able to demolish the thing and STILL go that far up the grassy hill? I would hazard a guess that the driver was going fast enough to be considered illegal so the insurance company will no doubt weasel out of it. I hope there was nobody in the shelter like there usually is at 4pm, would like an update if you find out the cause as there weren't any skidmarks or other vehicles there.
Oh man, now this will bring all those seniors out onto the sidewalk to protest again and I will have to avoid running over them as I drive home. I thought it was just the hot/cold weather that stopped them.
I think the billboard is saying that if the bride's hair turns out bright pink and as scary as this, feel free to shoot either the hairdresser, or possibly the bride?
Show me the money! I will believe it when I see it, there is an awful lot of talk expended on midtown projects... dare I mention "We really really ARE getting a Target off Cleveland where he projects are closed and demolished....oops" from a couple f yeas ago? Sorry to be an Eeyore, perhaps I will be proved (proven?) wrong.
As kids learning biology in England during the dark ages (1970s) we laughed at the history of the Scopes trials and the banning of teaching evolution. Good job we have evolved since then to the point where our beloved wackos in Nashville are regressing on pretty much everything. I wonder how many years until they revisit the whole thing about women voting?. We are becoming a punchline and pretty soon we will make number one on a Forbes list; "10 dumbest states".
Never mind "In arrears" the place is FULL of "rears".... And is Ca$h getting a raise? How did I miss that? I guess it isn't being shouted from the rooftops like "we are having to lay teachers off, boo hoo" was by him?
