If, for whatever reason, they don't retain Gasol, what would be a possible trade scenario to get some help at center? I know with little known at this point about the logistics of contracts and roster make-up this is far more theoretical than most trade questions.
GAME 7!!!!!!!!! GO GRIZZ!!!
I am going to the game and I am pumped about being there to watch our guys push this series to a game 7!! If this season is all about firsts, how about our first game 7?! Anyone have any ideas on posters or other paraphernalia I can make to take to the game?
There were a ton of fouls called, but they were called both ways. What made it so hard to watch as a Grizzlies fan was seeing Westbrook blow by everyone almost with ease and draw a foul on someone. I hated to see Mayo foul out like that when we really needed him. But it was a tremendous game to watch. I think it will go down easily as the most amazing Grizzlies game to date and we need more of those kind of games to get more fans bought in completely. Getting a franchise to move to Memphis was one thing, getting the fans to love the team with the passion we are seeing is another. All of my non-NBA friends are constantly tweeting and texting about the games and asking me when the next game is. I cannot wait until Wednesday.
I couldn't agree more about the "Memphis being Memphis" attitude. It goes way way beyond just the Grizzlies or sports in general. I hope that everyone goes into the Forum tonight ready to rock again. Monday was so crazy in there, I hope it somehow gets even louder. I also agree that win or lose, the Grizzlies have made the last week and half a lot of fun here in Memphis.
It is going to portend the Grizz winning on Wednesday. It is going to portend the Grizz winning back in Memphis too. I got the grizzfever.
Re: “Regular-Season Schedule Released”
Looking at the last 8 games on the schedule, and based on the rumors flying around about Paul and Howard possibly being traded, I think the Grizzlies could end the season on a high note heading into the playoffs. Utah, at New Orleans, at Minnesota, New Orleans, at Charlotte, Portland, Cleveland, and Orlando. Seems like a nice stretch to end on.
