I would like to see Tn have a system like other states where you have to have a permit to carry concealed and you don't have to have a permit to carry open. That way I can keep my permit and carry in states that honor the TN permit..

Do you think because we have permits now that's stopping them from carrying guns now? NO, they carry now. If any of you libs think a bad guy goes in and tries to get his permit so he can carry a handgun and gets denied he says oh well I guess I cant carry a handgun now I guess I need to go straight.

A gun permit doesn't infringe on anyone's right to bear arms anymore than a driver's infringes on a person's right to drive a car.
Its not a right to drive a car its a privilege, owning a gun is a right...
