Ms. Hart has made a serious mistake here. The same guy behind both of Nikki Tinker's campaigns has gotten in her ear and told her she can win this thing, when in fact, she would have been much better off running for a city council or county commission seat and built some experience before shooting this high.
For your own sake, and for your city's sake, quit listening to him. He's got his own ambitions, and after you've been beaten, he'll move on and put that same bug in someone else's ear.
"is the tea party really on board with the ACLU here? or are they just being contrary, per usual?"
Ay, there's the rub. If these same measures had been put in place four years ago, they would have called it "freedom groping".
"I don't dislike Bergmann, I would tell her, run for City Council or County Commission and make a mark there before running for COngress." - Packrat
She tried. She ran for mayor last year. Without the Tea Party artificially propping her up, she failed to get the 25 signatures required to get her name on the ballot.

Just Right, you sound kind of bitter. So what's the story? Did he not hire you, or did he fire you for gross incompetence?
