The video was interesting, but it ended just as it was getting good. On Comm. Mulroy; You can disagree with his politics all you want, as I frequently do, but his character can't be challenged. I happen to live down the block from Steve. We aren't beer drinking buddies, but I'm aquainted with him and his family. He, his lovely wife and his great kids are exactly the neighbors everybody would want. He is a Leftie, no doubt, but he does what he truly feels in his heart is right. You can also bet your butt it's by the law, something Steve Mulroy knows a thing or two about.
Right on, tomquleff. Hardly a mention of the kids in the piece. I realize the focus of the story is the struggle for the color of power. It's fashional at Midtown cocktail parties to proudly announce dislike for white guys in suits. Why is that OK? The current white guys in suits are are just making their way in life, like everybody else. The writer mentions the perpetuation of the status quo. The current status quo are the last two paragraphs of Tom's comment.
