Rob't Burgess and 'patience' are supplying only very partial info on the AUstin-Houston business folks. A single Austin NK shelter, in a desperate situation DUE TO FIRES, attempted to send some animals to a hi-kill in Houston, under agreement that it would be temporary (10 days), under no-kill conditions, and would they be open for adoption while there. I think what they left out fully illuminates the purposes of these posters. Oh, and RB and 'patience: if YOU don't want to do anything, fine. Then GET out of the way and let those of who, do it.
Ignorant comments about no-kill by a couple of cynics here. Be aware folks, that it is THEY who are misinformed; both about the n-k philosophy, the reality of moving toward (and ultimately implementing) it, AND it's costs.
