Re: “MATA Announces Record Year for Cyclists

What would be cool would be a series of point to point express bike buses. Like major neighborhood to major job center direct buses. Bartlett to Holmes Rd., Germantown to Med Center, East Memphis to Downtown. Sort of a spoke and hub system with buses traveling hub to hub and the bikes as the spoke transportation.

Re: “The End of the Beginning

Well since OTP's diabolical plot to give the suburbs everything they wanted by constantly arguing against it has come to fruition, what's there to argue about.

Re: “Germantown Said Ready to Settle with SCS

OTP continues to fight a rear guard action, giving ground on his arguments. A year ago none of this was possible because of the courts, the state legislature's unwillingness to act, private law suites, etc. Now muni school boards are seated, passing budgets and interviewing superintendents. Victory is sweet.

Re: “Bunker Will Seek "No Confidence" Vote on Election Administrator Holden

"Among the instances enumerated are the Election Day glitch of August 1990 "

Might want to recheck that fact.

The one HS concept is definitely the message that Bartlett officials got when they talked with other municipal school systems across the state. It is even better for local businesses that don't have to decide how to divide their sponsorship money.

Re: “Residents Share Concerns and Support at Truck Stop Community Meeting

Restaurants in shipping containers remind me of my time on the FOB in Iraq where the food court was all shipping containers. Now that was edgy!
