Thank you for the adjective "erstwhile". Was it intended for the Memphis City School Board AND the Shelby County School Board? Hopefully, solely, the former. Although, perhaps, the SCS Board has become "erstwhile". That sort of loss of direction tends to happen when you're ramrodded.
Check out the morale in the SCS. It is getting a little too close to the walking dead. Although the hostile takeover of SCS was, initially, a blatant money/ power grab, now, frosting on the cake, we even get educators working in a daze of disillusionment, powerless to fight back in an attempt to retain their convictions.
Oh well. That's what happens when Big, Bad Bully Memphis is the flunky puppeteer desperately trying to manipulate their knotted strings.
