While the comments don't seem to address the play.....I will.
I found the play rivetting. The performances were spot on and the one character mentioned, the unstable preacher's wife, was very much chilling. I thought they all were excellent. I didn't know what to expect from the play and went in a bit skeptical. I was a kid in Memphis at the time so it was, at that time, over my head. Looking back...wow!
I enjoyed this play and it was very moving.....a tiny hidden jewel in Memphis' vast theater repertoire
