@ arlington pop. You have no clue about gamecocks! That's why you state they are gentle and unagressive. When they mature they will not tolerate a male of the same species. If you can train a chicken to fight then you should also be able to train a chicken to fetch,,,,,get my drift. It's genetic. Match up to rhode island red roosters,,,they won't fight till death or even at all because they don't WANT to. In nature a game rooster would fight till death with a bare spur, wich causes masive infection and takes a long time. Weapons make it quick and the steel does not harbor bacteria like natural spurs. Please get your facts straight before you go on some pointless babbling crusade against average people. If your a male praying mantis you get your head ate off after you reproduce. If your a gamecock you fight till your prove your genetic superiority, then live out your life in a breeding facility. Did you know that the HSUS kills all gamecocks they confinscate. Never alowing them a chance to even fight for a place in retirement.
