Re: “Another View of the N-Word

here come the inevitable butthurt comments by the poor wittle white folks that have their feewings hurt, their itty bitty feewings are soooo hurt that they are not aloud to use the Nword. newsflash, you are NOT oppressed by the inaceptability of you using a word that was a token of oppression of the WORST KIND> worse than you have ever or will ever experience in this lifetime. newsflash, if you are not gay you are not allowed to use the f word either. words can become reappropriated by those they were once used to insult and humiliate. it is a way of taking away some of their power. it is not an excuse for you to get to use them. grow up, and find something more important to worry about. those who are obsessed with how deeply sad it is that they dont get to use the N word are thinking Very suspiciously like people who clearly are racists. so if you dont want to be classed with racists then Don't act like one.

good article by the way. it articulated the issues clearly and gently. unfortunately for a bunch of white folk whose biggest sadness in life is that there is such a thing as affirmative action in the world (which affects them not one whit) or that they dont get to use the n word or that their bullying of gays for jesus is called out as intolerance and bigotry, or whatever the hell else sad pitiful tragedies happen 'to them,' will probably not learn a thing. they have blinders on as black as blackest night.
