Out entire government has become nothing more than a noxious parasite. At times the dems are a delivery system and the repubs enable, at other times 'tis t'other way 'round.
I especially abhor the clawback feature inside of Medicaid. It is disgusting to me. Vile. Repugnant. Such a feature brings disgrace and dishonor upon the finest nation the earth has ever known in a way no other act could, with the exception of a reimplementation of slavery.
It should be removed immediately.
I don't expect this to occur.
So, let's not forget,'when Henri Brooks, or OTP for that matter, point a finger at you, or anyone else, and says that you may be a member of the KKK, they each have three fingers pointing back at them.
I resolve to never forget it.
William Jefferson Clinton was elected in 1991.
The democrat held house and senate passed the clawback feature, and Clinton signed it, in 1993. It was called the Omnibus Budget Reconcilliation Act (OBRA).
I'm just sayin'.
I should add that a bunch of dems voted against it. It was a tie in the senate, and Gore cast the deciding vote.
This legislation is one of the reasons the election several months later saw the republicans sweep both the house and the senate. The fact that they didn't change it back speaks to why so many of us trust neither party.
Again, just sayin'.
Then the state needs a larger police force in Memphis and Memphis needs a smaller one.
One question: What is the backlog, if any, in other cities, Shelby County sans Memphis, and other counties in the state?
Another question: What is the purpose if the MPD if not to investigate crimes that have been claimed to have been committed in Memphis?
@wireyamker and firefox
Were I you I'd ignore OTp. He argues. That's all. He doesn't really believe anything. He has no purpose, with the exception of making everything a race issue.
If you go read his posts from days gone by, you'll find where he argues for more gun control laws. Now he argues against any laws at all.
He won't even try to be accurate, or distinguish between opinion and fact. He is purposefully misleading at every turn.
He will call you names, slander whole groups of people, and outright lie. He does it on purpose.
Go. Read for awhile. You'll see.
I could add, that anyone wanting, or caring, to know if Mr. K is gay could always ask the bait, I mean the interns.
The fact that straight sex terrifies you doesn't make you gay, Brian...I mean Grover.
However, if you find yourself daydreaming about Tim Tebow splayed across a bed...maybe you are.
