I appreciate your response. What you are saying makes sense, and I disagree. I don't think he owes anyone an explanation, but I own that my opinion is exclusively supported by my experience and opinion. I do think this is a good piece. Thanks.
Just my take, but I do sense a bit of resentment in this column that Pera is not playing the role that the media wants him to play. Your argument is that media members are frustrated because Pera doesn't have to face the uncomfortable situation of refusing to answer certain questions. My take, granted it is a highly subjective take, is that media members are frustrated because they do not have answers to what is going on. The frustration then breeds the frustration at Pera for not having to face the firing line because he is the one who is keeping that information private. Also, not sure that I agree that the one on one game is "quixotic". Stupid, but I don't see quixotic. Thoughts?
