Some folks have made quite a career dressing up and performing as Elvis did. Some of them are quite remarkable. I much prefer the term "Elvis tribute artist" to "Elvis impersonator." These folks are not trying to pass themselves off as Elvis Risen. Elvis was one of the most iconic people in the world, in looks, mannerisms, voice, personality, style of dress. Anyone can imitate Elvis; very few can do it well. Elvis died the day after my 35th birthday, and I have met Scotty, D.J. and James Burton, so I do feel a connection.
