Every year, residents of Cooper-Young invite the city to a giant, musical block party. After being rained out on the original date, Porchfest 2026 had a perfect spring day to play on Sunday, April 19th. More than 170 bands peformed on the porches of the Midtown neighborhood. Thousands of Memphians scurried from porch to porch to catch their favorite bands and discover something new. It’s impossible to see everything, but the Flyer managed to capture a few of the city’s finest on video.
