According to the makers of Color of the Cross ย a film depicting Jesus as black ยย pastors with the Memphis Church of God in Christ have refused to screen the film to its congregation.
COGIC is just one of several traditionally black churches across the nation that the filmmakers claim refuse to screen the film.
Color of the Cross opens in several local theaters on Friday, October 27th.
