SpaceX will rent compute capacity in Memphis to Google for $920 million per month, according to a document filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
The deal was announced Friday. In it, Google will rent about 110,000 “NVIDIA GPUs, CPUs, memory, and other related components,” at SpaceX facilities in Memphis and Southaven.ย
The agreement runs from October 2026 to June 2029. If fulfilled fully and no changes are made to prices, the deal is worth $30.3 billion.

Terms allow Google to exit the deal if certain conditions are not met. Through it all, Google will retain ownerships of its products, content, and AI models.
Google makes the second multi-billion-dollar tech firm to house its artificial intelligence at one of the two SpaceX Colossus data centers in Memphis. Anthropic rented compute power here last month to power its Claude model. The firm will pay SpaceX about $1.2 billion per month in a three-year deal worth about $45 billion.
