Memphis on the internet.
Legends Bust
The Memphis Safe Task Force bust of Legends Bistro & Lounge was streamed live early Sunday morning by Mob Tae Sosa.
In it, agitated patrons mill about the front door, which they cannot open apparently. After about three minutes, an officer tells the crowd to get in a single-file line and begin exiting the venue. Police checked identifications of the patrons as they walked out.
The video prompted some to question the legality of locking patrons in a building and forcing them to show ID to exit.
The Memphis Police Department said they’ve responded to about 27 incidents at Legends over the last seven months, including assaults with firearms, car thefts, and more.
