For people who enjoy a different variety of beers and are looking for a fun day, Memphis Brewfest is the perfect way to spend your Saturday.
Brewfest started in Nashville in 2011 and came to Memphis in 2022. “We come from a different approach than other beer festivals because we started for the love of beer and to make sure that people can ask questions,” says Matt Leff, founder of Rhizome Productions, the event’s organizer.
Thirty-eight breweries, local and national, will be in attendance with their brewer and owner. There will also be live music from the FreeWorld band, baked goods, and 18 artistic vendors selling crafts and things. The food truck lineup includes Pok Cha’s Egg Rolls, Crossover Eats 901, and Say Cheese. Fundraisers like WarHorses for Heroes and other local charities will also be there engaging with guests to spread awareness of their nonprofit organizations.
