Memphis-born rapper Key Glock’s newest record Glockaveli: The Don is making a big splash. It debuted at #2 on the Billboard Rap Albums Chart, and cracked the top 10 of the Billboard 200. Last week, he set on a tour of America; on Thursday night, he will play the Municipal Auditorium in Nashville. (No Memphis date has been announced, which seems like a major oversight.)
His latest music video is for the title track of the album. “Glockaveli” was directed by Key Glock’s longtime collaborator Jake the Shooter. It’s a music video about making music videos. We watch as our hero gets ready for the big shoot, spending time in the makeup chair, finding just the right accessories, and greeting fans. It’s Key Glock’s big moment! Take a look.
